In this 3-day training you will become acquainted with the necessary processes to build a SIAM organization and IT ecosystem.
You will of course be introduced to the potential benefits, challenges and risks of implementing SIAM.
You also learn to describe the different SIAM structures for the service integrator layer and you can name the most important goals of the SIAM implementation roadmap and explain the associated activities of each phase.
During the training, practice exam questions are also discussed in preparation for the SIAM Foundation exam.

Prerequisites and study load:

No special prior knowledge is required for this training. In addition to the 3 days of training (classroom or virtual), a time investment of between 6 and 12 hours must be counted for the preparation for the exam.

This training includes the following topics: SIAM Technology; Service Integration; the core concepts, benefits and necessary processes to build a SIAM organization and IT ecosystem; relationships with, for example, Lean IT, Agile, DevOps, ITIL and Cobit, Sourcing; IT value streams, workflow and flow efficiency; SIAM software and data considerations, and the business case for SIAM.

This SIAM Foundation training is for all professionals who work in an environment that purchases IT services from various internal and external suppliers (and are accountable for this), or are considering doing so.

At the end of the training you will understand the main concepts and processes of SIAM used in organizations; you can set up a SIAM ecosystem to better organize the organization's resources; can provide you with better support during a SIAM implementation by understanding key considerations for key processes; you know how to mitigate the risks associated with Integrated Services and the SIAM ecosystem; can integrate your services using different structures based on SIAM practices and methodology; recognize the main phases of the SIAM implementation to better plan its roll-out; you can determine the SIAM roles and are optimally prepared for the official English EXIN exam

Foreknowledge and level
There is no specific prior knowledge.
Some knowledge of IT Service Management is a plus.
